Dental Implants in Atlanta
Single teeth, full arches and the bone work that makes them last, planned on a 3D scan and placed by a board-certified oral surgeon.
Dr. Okhiria places the implant. In many cases your general dentist makes the final tooth, and we coordinate with them from the first scan.

Before anything is placed, we take a CBCT scan in the office, a 3D image that shows the height and width of your jawbone, the nerve in the lower jaw and the sinus above your upper teeth. Dr. Okhiria plans each implant's position on that scan, often with a surgical guide, and walks you through it on a big screen so you can see exactly what she sees. If the bone is too thin, she'll tell you at the consult and explain whether a graft comes first, so surgery day holds no surprises.
One missing tooth or
a whole smile
A single-tooth implant replaces one missing tooth without touching the teeth beside it: Dr. Okhiria places a small titanium post where the root used to be, and once it has bonded with the bone, a crown goes on top. For people who have spent years fixing one failing tooth after another, All-on-4 replaces a full set of teeth with a fixed bridge held by four or more implants, and you go home on surgery day with a temporary fixed bridge, so you never leave without teeth. The final bridge follows about six months later, once the bone has healed.
Bone grafting and sinus lifts are the groundwork that make implants possible when bone has thinned after a tooth was lost. Dr. Okhiria often places a graft at the same visit as an extraction, and before recommending a sinus lift she looks for a simpler route, like a shorter or angled implant in the bone you already have. You can read more in our guide to bone grafts before an implant.
Comfortable on the day,
cared for after
You can choose local anesthesia alone, laughing gas or IV sedation, and Dr. Okhiria, who has given thousands of sedations, runs IV sedation herself. You go home with written instructions, and she makes the follow-up call herself. She is candid that implants are a tool: "Dental implants are not a replacement. They're just a tool to help you chew." A good implant works hard for years, and it still needs cleaning, checkups and a healthy mouth around it, so if she doesn't expect one to last, she'll tell you at the consult.
Starting with a consult and a scan
Most patients come to us with a referral from their general dentist, and you're welcome without one. At your consult on the eighth floor of The Macquarium Building on Peachtree Road, Dr. Okhiria reviews your health history, takes the 3D scan and lays out your options, including who will make the final teeth, so you leave with a clear plan and time to think it over.
