Meet the Team
One surgeon does your consult, your surgery and your follow-up call. A small team that learns your name looks after you from the front desk to the surgery room.

Dr. Jennifer Okhiria, DDS, FACS
- Board certified, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Fellow, American College of Surgeons
- DDS with honors, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Dr. Okhiria grew up in Atlanta and earned her biology degree at Spelman College. She completed dental school with honors at UNC Chapel Hill, then an internship and four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she was named Intern of the Year.
After a decade operating in other offices, she opened her own. "When I call patients for follow-ups, I call them myself. I still clean the chairs. I still sterilize the instruments, because this is my baby."
She started a study club for women in dentistry, hosts paid summer internships for college students, and is a mom of three. "To make it normal that you can be a mom and you can also be a provider, a professional as well."
The team you'll meet

Jazmyn
Project ManagerJazmyn is the reason a full surgical day feels calm from your side of the front desk. As our project manager, she runs the operations behind every visit — the schedule, the systems and the details that keep a small surgical team in sync — so your appointment is planned and ready before you walk in.

Asya
Patient Experience and Marketing ManagerIf you’re nervous about calling an oral surgeon, Asya is often the first voice you’ll hear, and she’ll make that first call feel easy. Dr. Okhiria brought her over from a corporate dental office, and Asya loves that this team treats each other — and you — like family. Off the clock, she’s a former varsity shooting guard and a true-crime documentary fan.

Mayra
Treatment CoordinatorSurgery comes with real questions about cost and coverage, and Mayra is the person who walks you through them. As our treatment coordinator, she goes over your plan, your insurance and your financing options at your consult, so you leave knowing what to expect. She came to dentistry from medicine, after working with an orthopedic doctor at Northside Hospital, and has called Atlanta home since moving from New York City at 12.

Elysia
Lead Surgical AssistantDuring surgery, the person right beside Dr. Okhiria — and right beside you — is often Elysia. She always knew she belonged in health care, started on the nursing track at Georgia Southern, and found her fit in oral surgery, which she’ll tell you is a ten out of ten. Born and raised in Atlanta, she has worked with Dr. Okhiria for more than two years and loves getting out on a hiking trail on the weekends.

Jessica
Surgical AssistantBefore you ever sit down, Jessica has already set up the room for your procedure. The newest member of our team, she assists Dr. Okhiria chairside and handles sterilization, and she brings a medical assistant’s background and a real love for being close to the action. She learned most of what she knows on the job, from people who took a chance on her, and at home her little boy is always the first one at the door.
Request a consult
Send a request and our team will call you to find a time. Most patients come with a referral from their dentist, and you're welcome without one.
